Bulls sign J-Mac

In an attempt to find a consistent outside shooter, Jason McElwain, also known as "J-Mac," has been signed to a 3 year, 15 million dollar contract by the Chicago Bulls. McElwain, known for being the autistic kid who got hard and started raining threes in a high school game in 2006, has had the interest of Bulls management for quite sometime. "Jason just has a great stroke," said GM John Paxson during a conference call on Tuesday. "We felt he could add another dimension to our team, rather than just having Larry Hughes and Ben Gordon jack up bricks all game, here we have an established shooter that hopefully can help us down the stretch." When grilled by reporters about picking up an unproven autistic person on an NBA squad, Paxson fired back. "We've had Andres Nocioni on the roster for years, and no one has said anything. We don't discriminate in this organization. Wait, he's not really retarded? Wow, could've fooled me." Full coverage of this story as it unfolds only on www.bullsweekly.com.
