Air Nocioni

Nocioni has become one of the Bulls rare bright spots this season. Although his shooting percentage numbers accross the board are lower than last year his scoring is up, and he is becoming a legitimate scoring threat every time down the floor. His scoring increase could be attributed to him entering the prime years of his career, but this Bullsweekly.com reporter feels there is another reason for the scoring increase. Andres lost over 10 pounds this summer, to help the recovery of his plantar fasciitis injury from last season. He claimed after the summer, he was going to put this weight back on... From the looks of it he has not put the weight back on, he's down from his 235 playing weight and reports have him listed at 225. Nocioni looks much lighter on his feet, and he has been able to use this increase in quickness to penetrate to the basket. Lane penetration has been Nocioni's biggest weakness since entering the league, but this season Andres has been getting past perimeter defenders and finishing at the cup with authority. His rebounds per game are down, which may be attributed to his new found ability to run the floor.
