Tyrus Thomas Suspended 2 Games

The team announced that the second-year forward has been suspended two games for an unexcused absence from Wednesday's practice. Vice president of basketball operations John Paxson levied the penalty.

Thomas will miss Thursday night's home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Friday's contest against the Celtics in Boston.

Dear Duhon,

Please don't take the players who play out to the club. You got him crunk last night, and now he missed practice. I know you don't play anymore, but can you at least keep the partying with players that play to a minimum. Take Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons. Shoot why don't you call Viktor Khryapa.

Thanks,
