Sure the 90's were great, and historically the Bulls will always be known for their Michael Jordan Era. To be a true Chicago Bulls Superfan, you have to respect, honor and learn about your past. Historical Bulls are often over-looked and information on them is hard to come by. BullsWeekly will now be doing historical Chicago Bulls posts to help us and you learn about our history.
The first is non-other then Artis Gilmore... He spent 6 seasons in Chicago 77-82, averaging about 18-23 ppg and avg 10+ rebounds every season with the Chicago Bulls along with 2+ blocks.

"He was an During his long career that spanned 12 seasons in the NBA and five in the American Basketball Association, Gilmore was known as a workhorse, playing 670 consecutive games at one stretch. He barely spoke above a whisper and rarely got in fights or argued with referees. Instead of lashing out verbally, the media-shy Gilmore responded to critics who called him lazy and uninspired by staging comeback after comeback and by remaining a potent force until the end of his career.
Gilmore was an All-Star in 11 of his 17 years as a pro, his last selection coming at age 36. Scoring most of his more than 15,000 NBA points with dunks, finger-rolls and baby hook shots, the lefthanded Gilmore posted a career .599 field-goal percentage, the highest ever in the league."

Johnny Red Kerr Keeps Talking To A Limit
When Comcast does their Chicago Bulls telecast, Tom Dore does the play by play and Stacey King hogs everything else. I noticed this during the Pacers game, and Red Kerr only talked for 1 minute combined for the entire 1st quarter. Stacey King's big mouth keeps Red Kerr from saying some important things like the ones featured in the above video. Check it out.
MJ vs Bird Horse Commercial
The greatest sports commercial of all-time was the Larry Bird vs Michael Jordan McDonalds game of "Horse" commercial, Larry Legend challenges MJ in a game of horse for his McDonalds... This commercial finishes without a result, but our bulls weekly sources have informed us MJ won H-O-R-S-E to H.

Chicago Bulls Shoot Down The Grizzlies

Drew Gooden and Luol Deng scored 21 points apiece, and the Bulls beat Memphis 112-97 on Tuesday night to extend the Grizzlies' losing streak to nine games.
Drew Gooden had his best game since the Bulls acquired him and Larry Hughes from Cleveland. He was a force inside, hitting 10 of 15 shots, blocking three and grabbing 14 rebounds.
Kirk Hinrich added 19 points, 12 assists and a career-high four blocks, while Andres Nocioni scored 20, and Ben Gordon scored 16 points for Chicago.
Drew Gooden had a couple of nasty dunks, but like usual the United Center sat there in silence. Can we get some enthusiasm please? Larry Hughes didn't play that much and only shot 7 times ending up with 8 points.
Even though the Bulls did shoot well, I am not going to get my hopes up because they did play the Grizzlies.
Some Notes.....
Brian Cardinal played 25 minutes without scoring a single point. Why did Joakim Noah get limited minutes? He grabbed 9 rebounds in 21 minutes. Tyrus Thomas had 4 fouls in 8 minutes. Shannon Brown played 30 seconds and hit a 3. The Bulls take on the Cavs on TNT Thursday.

Andres Nocioni Plays With Only One Shoe
Nocioni lost his shoe against the Wizards last week, and decided to make 3's with one shoe on. Rip pointed out that Aaron Gray loses his shoe a lot, but Nocioni maybe played better with one shoe. I had an interview with Noce and he said: "I try put shoe on, but shoe was stubborn so I just play and I play good. I make 3 pointers."
